About the Event
CanvasCon Online is a virtual conference for educators, edtech experts, Canvas lovers, and Canvas lurkers. The global event consists of inspirational keynotes, networking, a virtual partner hall, and breakout sessions.
The Project
Due to COVID-19, Instructure had to move it’s yearly in-person InstructureCon event online—and thus CanvasCon Online was born. I was tasked with strategizing and designing the virtual event website from pre-event to post-event. I also wireframed and helped design the live event experience and collaborated on the design for the live Partner Hall.
The virtual event was a huge success, with 30,000 registrations and more than 20,000 attendees—bringing a plethora of new prospects and pipeline for Canvas. Attendees dubbed it the best live conference experience in the industry and are looking forward to the 2021 experience.
